Georgie Kindy

Georgie Ann Kindy, daughter of George and Oma (Thompson) Patton, was born October 6, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on December 12, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Georgie married the love of her life, Eugene Kindy on November 18, 1994. She was a graduate from Northeastern State College, where she received her master's degree. She taught for 30 years at Peavine School. Georgie was an active member of Victory Southern Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Oma Patton, two brothers: Walter Patton and Baxton "Buck" Patton.
Georgie is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband: Eugene Kindy of the home in Stilwell, OK; one son: Jimmy Bryan Lawley of Stilwell, OK, one daughter: Nakita Ann Brite and husband Ralph of Claremore, OK; one grandson: Mathew Brite of Claremore, OK; one brother: Jack Patton and wife Sharon of Stilwell, OK; one sister: Johnnie Stienley of Ft. Worth, TX;
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Steve Malory officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma.
