Gifford Taylor

Gifford Gean Taylor, son of Levi and Bonnie Lara (Clinton) Taylor was born July 14, 1945 in Pitcher, OK and departed this life on May 22, 2016 in Bunch, OK at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 8 days.

He had a great love for animals and was a farmer and rancher for many years. He loved fishing and hiking but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Janet Taylor, brother; Bill Taylor and sister; Verta Guinn.

Gifford is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Beverly Taylor of the home in Vian, OK, children; Kevin Taylor, Kenny Taylor and wife Erica of Stilwell, OK, Laura Buckner and husband Randy all of Stilwell, OK, Jennifer Cooper and husband Adam of Germany, Jessica Sharp and husband Cory of Texarkana, TX, Jeremy Rogers and wife Cindy of Havre de Grace, MD, Joseph Rogers and wife Angel of Stillwater, OK, grandchildren; Justen Taylor, Brice Taylor, Tesslyn Buckner, Taylor Buckner, Zane Rogers, Ean Sharp, Logan Rogers, Sophia Rogers, Elizabeth Sharp, Landon Rogers, Genny Rogers and Caitlin Cooper. Siblings; Mickie Keehler of Stilwell, OK, Rosemary McCommon of San Diego, CA, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Services at 2 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Bo Wolfe officiating. Interment at Piney Cemetery, Stilwell, OK
