Grace Stephenson

Grace (Doyle) Stephenson was born July 31,1927 in Woolsey Arkansas. She was the 5th child born to R.B. and Martha Doyle.
She left her earthly body April 5 at 2:10 a.m.

She married the one and only love of her life, Olen Stephenson, on August 16,1945 just after his volunteered tour with the U.S. Navy.

They were both very dedicated to the Lord and devoted and faithful in service to God in the Whitmire Community Church throughout their marriage.

By her side until her heavenly flight were Arlus, Lynda and Mikah of the home and Michael and Kerry.

She enjoyed working in the home with old fashioned values. She made big gardens and flower gardens. She canned tons of foods, made lots of quilts with precision-her stitches were so precise they could easily compare with machine stitching. She did a lot of crocheting as Olen often referred to as "whick whacking."

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Olen, Her parents, one sister Eula Bottoms, and three brothers George, Clyde and baby Arthur.
She is survived by two sisters, Lillie Clinton and Rose Ann Davenport with husband Bill. Also brothers, Burl, Ray and wife Betty, Bobby and wife Jane, and Kenneth and wife Ruby.

She loved the Lord and family with all her heart.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
