Grover Wilhite

Grover Noil Wilhite was born August 8, 1924 in Adair Co., OK to John Everett and Lucy (Unger) Wilhite. He departed this life June 27, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 19 days.

Grover was a veteran of the Korean War. He departed with the 45th division company I 279th Infantry Regime. He was honorably discharged in June 1952.

Grover wed Bobbie Raye Sever on June 30, 1979. He was employed by Stilwell Foods where he retired.

Grover was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie, parents: John and Lucy Wilhite, 5 brothers: Raymond, Omer, Orren and infant twins, sister: Imogene Thomas.

He is survived by his son: Donald Jeffrey Slaton and wife Phyllis, 2 grandsons of Bremerton, WA, 2 sisters: Wanda Catcher and Dorthy Yvonne Workman of Stilwell, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
