Harold Anderson

Harold Eugene Anderson, son of Reverend Jewel P. and Alameda Coleman Anderson, was born May 5, 1948 in Jay, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 29, 2009 in Watts, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 24 days. Harold was a graduate of Westville High School. By profession he was a truck driver and a carpenter. Harold was a veteran who served as a Medic in Hawaii during the Vietnam Conflict. He will be missed by his family and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, one nephew: John Davis and a niece: Jackie Lynn Stone-Hinton. Harold is survived by his son: Matt Anderson of Stilwell, OK, one granddaughter: Erin Joyce Anderson of Stilwell, three sisters: Frela Walden and husband Elmer of Rudy, AR, Carolyn Sue Stone of Rising Star, TX, and Vera Jeweline Langley of Arkoma, OK, one maternal aunt: Ruth Coleman of Ft. Smith, AR, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2009 at Bell Cemetery in Watts, OK with Rev. Jerry Sadler officiating. Interment under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
