Harold J. Coleman was born on July 5, 1946 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2020 at his log home in Westville, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Fern (Renfroe) and Joe Coleman of Titanic, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Kay; his son, Matthew and his wife Joy of Gentry, Arkansas; his grandson Mason of Gentry, Arkansas; and his grandson Scott of Colcord, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by six brothers and one sister: Jim and wife Tommie Ruth of Siloam Springs, AR; the late Bill and late wife Ina of Tulsa; Gerald and wife Sue; Clyde and wife the late Mae Jean all of Stilwell, Oklahoma; Gracie and husband Larry Ford of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Jerry and wife Elaine of Winters, Texas; He had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews as well as many, many friends.
Harold retired from Franklin Electric where he worked for 38 ½ years.
He was a cowboy. He loved riding, raising, breaking, and trading horses as well as cattle. He was a Champion Header. He loved to team rope and went to events in Oklahoma and Texas.
He loved to weld and make items for his wife and family out of old horse shoes. He also loved to help his wife in her classroom and made several pieces of furniture for her classroom as well as helping her set up the Stilwell Grade and Middle School Library Media Center when his wife was Library Media Specialist.
He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.
