Harold Ross

Harold Dale Ross, son of Wasker Rome and Willie Lee Rutherford Ross, was born on June 6, 1946 in Watts, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, September 17, 2009 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 11 days. Harold was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. His presence will be missed by his family and friends. Harold was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Westville, Ok. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. He worked in the construction industry as a plumber for 20 years in Shawnee, Kansas. He worked for Roadway Express for 10 years. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Jerry Ross, Eugene Ross and J.W. Ross. He is survived by his wife: Leona Jeanne Ross of the home in Westville, OK, his son: Brandon Dale Ross of Siloam Springs, AR, his daughter: Dale Ann Cubbage and husband Harold Rabbit of Watts, OK, two grandchildren: Jackson and Camryn Cubbage, his brothers: Sheridan Ross of Watts, OK, Darrell Ross and wife Glenda of Watts, OK, his sisters: Zella Shipley of Watts, OK, Willodene Cooper and husband Jake of Watts, OK, Madeline Sylvester of Tahlequah, OK, Joann Luper and husband George of Claremore, OK, Carolene Barlow and husband Jerry of Watts, OK, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held at noon on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Tabernacle of Praise in Westville, Oklahoma with Pastor Chris Harrison and Pastor Mike Hayes officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
