Harvey Hill

Henry Harvey Hill, son of Henry Bert and Ollie Victoria (Battenfield) Hill, was born on July 25, 1930 and died Friday, July 21, 2017 at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 21 days.

He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He served in the Korean War for 4 years. Harvey received a Purple Heart for bravery and a Korean SV Ribbon. He was honorably discharged on August 29th, 1951 with Great Respect from all who served under him. Harvey married Lena Lorene Sisco on June 15, 1963. He worked as a mechanic to provide for his family, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers, sisters and one grandchild; Harvey William Christie.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 59 years; Lorene Hill of the home in Stilwell, OK, his special little girl Faith Hill of the home, children; Eugene Sisco, Rita Scraper, of Stilwell, OK, Judy Cobler and husband Allen of Peggs, Ok, Karen Christie of Stilwell, OK, Brenda Williams and husband John of Buchanan, TX, , Diane Johnson and husband Jack of Summers, AR, Barbara Maples, Joyce Lawrence and husband David, Debbie Teehee and husband Billy Wayne all of Siloam Springs, AR. 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sister; Irene Hannah of Claremore, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services at 10 am on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Richard Gardner officiating. Interment at Stilwell City Cemetery.
