Hazel Adkins

Hazel Estelle Adkins, daughter of Ted and Tener Belle Hiler Potter, was born on October 30, 1927 in Porum, Oklahoma and departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

She helped support her family as a beautician. The Lord blessed her with a loving family and long life. Hazel liked to visit, meet new people and share stories. She loved working in her yard and her flowers. Hazel crocheted beautiful Dolls and other items. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Ted and Tener Potter and brother: Bayne Potter.

Hazel is survived by her husband: Billy Joe Adkins of Stilwell, OK, children: James Ray Adkins, Donna Ruth House and husband Dean, all of Parachute, CO, grandchildren: Eric House of Needles, CA, Phillip and Timothy House, Sandy Adkins and JunJym Adkins of Parachute, sisters: Levada Petree of Stilwell, Carol Munes of Modesto, CA, Linda Flynn of Montrose, CO.

She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Marty Jones officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
