Hazel Clevenger

Lorraine Clevenger, daughter of John W. and Flarra Mae Sanders Lewis was born January 15, 1928 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on September 7, 2014 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 23 days.

Lorraine was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. In her younger years, Lorraine and Irvin enjoyed camping and attending blue grass music festivals. She worked as a deputy county treasurer from 1983 to 1990. She also enjoyed embroidery, feeding and watching the birds and always enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Irvin, 2 sisters: Virginia Patterson Guthrie and Betty Jo Lewis, 3 brothers: Jack, Dale and Howard Lewis and 1 grandson: Russell Clevenger.

Lorraine is survived by a very loving family that includes her children: Cheryl Mahan and husband John of Sapulpa, OK, James Clevenger and wife Cathy of Chouteau, OK, Janice Brewer and husband Perry of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren: Jonathan Brewer and wife Sheila, Nicholas Brewer and wife Missy, Lara Brewer, Matthew Clevenger and wife May, Sarah Redman and husband Joe, step grandsons: John Mahan and Mark Mahan and wife Julie, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services at 2pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Ronnie LaCaze officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
