Hazel Thomas

Hazel Loretta Peters Wood Thomas, daughter of mother, Mary Jane Essary Peters and father Harvey Peters was born on May 16, 1920, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She departed this life at the age of 97, on February 3, 2018, in Pomona, KS.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Eva Peters Bean, Esther Peters Steinsiek, Irene Peters Thomas, Adell Collette Peters, Ruth Peters, and Pauline Peters, her brothers, Tom Peters, Herschel Peters, Hugh Peters, Pete Peters, and Roy Peters. Her spouses were Lawrence Eugene Wood and Robert Harry ‘Dutch' Thomas, and sons, Don Wood and Danny Wood, and granddaughter, Michelle Wood.

Surviving Hazel are her children, Gail Lynn Wood, Racy and Tom Wood. Her grandchildren Kimberlee Wood Summurs, Robert Eugene Racy, and Monique Wood Spencer, and great grandchildren, Andrew Wood, Danny Ochsmann, Xandar Chabrier, Carter Pilch, and Reese Spencer. Hazel's great-great granddaughters are Adalynn and Mabel Wood.
