Henry Teehee

Henry Gene Teehee, son of George and Lizzie (Cochran) Teehee, was born on June 20th, 1972 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  He went home to be with his Lord and loved ones in heaven on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 50 years of age.

Those who went before him to heaven and welcomed him home, include his parents: George and Lizzie Teehee, brother: Nathaniel Teehee, sisters: Sarah Teehee, Leona Teehee, Jennie (Teehee) Wolfe, nephews: Jonathan Handle and Joshua Teehee.

Henry is survived by his loving family, his sisters: Alene Teehee and companion Lesley Ridge, Bernice (Teehee) Powell and husband Phillip, brothers: George Teehee, Jr. and wife Shirley, Kenneth Teehee and wife Tonya, Dennis Teehee and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

“Our brother, Henry Gene “Moot”, was truly a man of few words.  All of his life, he mostly kept to himself, never liked to bother others.

His conversations were short and he had a silly side that was seldom seen.  If you were fortunate enough to see it, it quickly became a pleasant thought, and today, one of the many memories we will share with each other.

He loved being outdoors, loved his sports (especially football), shopping, and just being independent, even after his mobility was no longer what it was.

The disadvantages of his health problems were apparent, yet he embraced the life God gave him daily.

We, as his family, will always be grateful for the example he was.

Funeral services were held at 11 am on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. George Teehee, Jr. and Bro. Avery McGee officiating.  Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
