On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, Irene Cochran, loving wife, and mother, passed away at the age of 69 years, 10 months, and 4 days.
Irene was born on September 25, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to William and Samantha Stealer.
She married Sanders Cochran on August 23, 1969. From this union, they had one son, Martin (Son) Cochran and one special granddaughter, Jacee Reese Cochran. She was a member of Cherry Tree Baptist Church.
Irene enjoyed being with family and friends. She also loved sewing quilts, clothes, and various items. She was a collector for all miniature bottles, but preferred perfume bottles and anything Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Irene was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and loved George Strait. She was known for her quick wit and was a unique individual.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Samantha Stealer, one daughter-in-law: Sonya Cochran, 3 brothers: George Stealer, Raymond Stealer and Mack Stealer, 2 sisters: Wanda Pigeon and Ruby Stealer.
Irene is survived by her husband: Sanders Cochran of the home, one son: Martin (Son) Cochran of Stilwell, OK and one granddaughter: Jacee Reese Cochran of Tahlequah, OK, 2 sisters: Allene Teehee of Stilwell, Galelia Harris of Sallisaw, OK, 2 special friends: Linda and Glenn Wilson of Bunch, OK, Rodney Bird of Stilwell, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
