J Brannon

JT Brannon son of Foss Millard and Haley Leo (Elvington) Brannon was born March 11, 1927 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on May 25, 2016 in Sallisaw, OK at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 14 days.

JT enjoyed life and always had a smile on his face. He worked construction for many years but really enjoyed being a farmer. He was an avid horseman and coon hunter. JT could put a smile on anyone. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Helen (Longshore) Brannon, sisters; Pawnee Hey, Rema Petree, Erma York, Alleda Blevins and Darlene Rill, Brothers; Bernie Dee Brannon, Junior Brannon and LD Brannon.

JT is survived by a very loving family that includes his son; Danny Earl Brannon and wife Lowetta of Stilwell, OK, Wynona Layton and husband Rick of New Florence, MO, grandsons; Joshua and Danny Brannon both of Stilwell, OK, Ryan Layton of New Florence, MO, granddaughter; Jessie Layton of New Florence, MO, and great granddaughter; Keisha Brannon of Stilwell, OK. 2 sisters; Maxine Caldwell of Coulterville, CA, Judy Brackett and husband Frank of Stilwell, OK, brother; Preston Brannon and wife Ava of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
