J.C. Nunn, son of Joseph Bedford and Lucy McKinney Nunn, was born on January 1, 1923 in Comanche, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 21 days. J.C. was a long time member of the Westville Community. He was a carpenter by trade and worked in the construction industry. J.C. enjoyed working in his garden and growing vegetables. He loved his family and the time he was able to spend with them. J.C. will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Lucy Nunn, 12 siblings: Ralph, Herman, Joel, John, Lee, R.D., Jackie, Aline Sanford, Louise Vance, Artis, twins: Grace and infant brother. Surviving J.C. is his wife: Kay Nunn of the home in Westville, OK, children: Rickey Nunn and wife Helen of Marlow, OK, Roger Nunn and wife Natalie of Marlow, OK, Bonnie Cunningham and husband Don of Marlow, OK, stepchildren: Eric Crowder of Yucaipa, CA, Greg Crowder of Tulsa, OK, Cindy Rooney of Siloam Springs, AR, Amie Brown of Westville, OK, 14 grandchildren: Wayne Nunn, Boyd Nunn and wife Aubrey, Caleb Cunningham, Mindy Nunn, Rachel Nunn, Micah Nathan, Dominique Nathan, all of Marlow, OK, Jackie Carson, Jason Rooney of Siloam Springs, AR, Kristin Griffith and Brittany Crowder of California, Bryce, Brandon and Madison Pelfrey of Westville, OK, 2 great grandchildren: Abigail Haley Griffith and McKenzie Rae Griffith, and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at Marlow City Cemetery, Marlow, OK, with Jerry Couch officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
