Jack Christie

Jack Christie, son of Jess and Florence Melvina (York) Christie was born February 6, 1954 in Tahlequah, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on January 20, 2017 in Stilwell, Ok at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 14 days.

He graduated from Stilwell High School and was a great football player during school. He enjoyed fishing, game chickens, dogs, tinkering with old trucks and pulling pranks on his friends. He worked construction for many years to provide for his family. He had a heart of Gold and would help anyone he could but most importantly he gave his heart to the Lord nearly 10 years ago.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, son; Harvey William Christie, siblings; Lavonna Farrell, Annie Christie, William Christie, Jess Christie and Robert Dale Christie.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Karen Christie, special friend; Lori Parker, 3 children; Cynthia Flynn and husband Jimmy, of Okemah, OK, Henry Jack Christie of Stilwell, Ok, Grayson Jack Christie of Bunch, OK, 7 grandchildren. Siblings; Lonnie Christie and wife Tammie, Rick Christie all of Stilwell, Ok, Vicki Cox-Wilson and husband Eldon of Park Hill, OK and Mary Thompson of Stilwell, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. John Flute officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
