Jack Ramsey

Jack Lynn Ramsey, son of Jess Lee and Zela Tecoy Matthews Ramsey, was born on March 13, 1949 in Bakersfield California and departed this life on March 30, 2016 in Bentonville, Arkansas at the age of 67 years and 17 days.
He was a line-worker at Gates Rubber Co.
Jack served his country during the Vietnam War as an E-5. He served in the 101st Cav. Airborne Division and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Mechanic Badge, Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman's badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 device, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 campaign stars, 2 Overseas Service Bars.
Jack loved riding bikes, going on cruises and spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Betty Ramsey, Don Ramsey, Eddie Ramsey, Jimmy Ramsey and Mike Ramsey.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his partner: Billy Ray of the home in Westville, a sister: Peggy McGowan and husband Charles of Mountainburg, AR and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 2 pm on Monday, April 04, 2016 at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. James Duffell officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
