Jackie Christie

Jackie Dewayne Christie, son of Liddie Christie Kelley, was born on September 13, 1969 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years, 9 months and 5 days.

Jackie's hobbies included watching Nascar- Tony Stewart, playing fast pitch softball with his buddies and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his dogs "Chief" and "Buddy". They were a part of his family. His passion for the Arkansas Razorbacks was obvious. He was always wearing a hat, shirt or some item that had a Razorback on it, he never wanted to miss a game and he was always "calling the hogs". Most of all, He will be remembered for his ability to make people smile.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Thomas and Lula Christie, three uncles: Johnny Christie, Walter Christie, Bobby Dale Christie, one aunt: Annie Christie

Jackie's memory will be kept by his loved ones who remain behind. They include his significant other: Roxanne Burgess of Stilwell, OK; children: Whitney Christie and fiancé Chase Green of Stilwell, OK, Shyla Burgess and fiancé Nathan Dooley of Proctor, OK, Justus Duncan, Snow Burgess, Tristan Burgess, and Jackie Whitewolfe Duncan of Stilwell, OK; grandchildren: WhiteEagle Jones, YoungMoon and Ryver Nofire, Jordan and Haven Burgess; mother: Liddie Kelley and husband John; siblings: Dave Gonzalis, Dean Gonzalis and companion Dara, Ann Glass, aunt: Sallie "Shirley" Nofire and companion Donald Ross, an aunt that is like a sister: Iris Ferguson and husband Frank of Richmond, VA, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
