James Bunch

James Curtis Bunch, son of Curtis and Atha Jean (Brewer) Bunch went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 at home
surrounded by his loving family. James was born on September 2, 1960 and was a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation.

James, who was also known by his friends and fellow chicken- catchers as "Killer", worked all his life as a chicken-catcher. He was a die-hard Sooner Fan and a die-hard Thunder Fan. He was also a die-hard Cave Springs Fan, the school he graduated from and loved so dearly.

James was a member of Rock Fence Baptist Church, where he loved listening to the word of God by Brother George Teehee.

James loved to hook the birds, watch the Sooners beat Texas and OSU, playing basketball with Richard Berry, Charlie Stilwell, Rick and Norman Swake, Larry Don Soap, Ronnie Duncan, JJ Bishop, and Rick Scott. He loved spending time with his wife Terrye, his only sister Rhonda Eubanks, his three sons John Henry, Elvis, and Tyke also his niece and nephew Quanah Mae Bunch and Jamie Gene Bunch.
The most joy he got in life was taking his grandbabies, great-niece, and great-nephews to the creek to swim and play.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Atha Jean Bunch (Brewer), father: Curtis Bunch, grandparents: JB and Annie Brewer, Henry and Nancy (Pritchett) Bunch, one brother: Kirk Douglas Bunch, in-laws: Red and Gin Fourkiller, Bob and Learah Stufflebeam, and six uncles.

James is survived by his wife of 37 years Terrye J Bunch, three sons: John Henry and Denise (Teehee) Bunch, James "Elvis" Bunch, Tyke Le Bunch, one sister: Rhonda and Shannon Eubanks, one brother: Henry J Bunch, one brother-in-law: J.C. and Melinda Fourkiller, four grandchildren: Skyla Bunch, Kylee Bunch, Jacob Bunch, and Alysa Bunch, one niece: Quanah Mae Bunch and Jeremy Woods, two nephews: Jamie Gene Bunch, Kirk Douglas Bunch Jr. and wife Maria, five great-nephews and two great-nieces that called him "Papaw" Kaycee Bunch, Kayla Bunch, Rylan Woods, Kaleb Woods, Cash Woods, Ryver Bunch and Logan Bunch, one aunt: Louetta and Harvey Johnson, one uncle: George and Laura Bunch, plus a host of friends and loved ones.
