James Perrin

James William Perrin, son of J.D. and Jeffie Lee Oliver Perrin, was born on November 18, 1931 in Queen City, Texas and passed from this life on Tuesday, September 22,2009 in Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 4 days. Jay spent 28 years in the oil business. During this time, he was Vice President of Texaco Trading Transportation. Jay was an original member of the Shangri La Golf Tennis Club and the Patricia Island Golf Club. Jay was well loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jay was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Jim Perrin. Jay is survived by his wife: Barbara Jean Howard Perrin of the home in Grove, OK, sons: Tracy Lee and Tyle Eugene Perrin of Tulsa, OK, brother: Dave Kirkland of Lake Charles, LA, grand daughters: Kristin Avery and Natalee Rose Perrin of Tulsa, OK, stepson: John R. Verardo of Coweta, OK, stepdaughter: Lenora Ellen Callahan of Tulsa, OK, and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009 at Stilwell City Cemetery with Bro. Dave Kirkland officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
