James Rector

James Arthur Rector departed this life on earth to enter into eternal peace with our Lord in Heaven on October 7, 2009 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born to Thomas Lee and Margaret Morris Rector. He had just celebrated his 50th birthday on October 1st. He was employed at the Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma as an Information Technology Technician until the development of his recent illness. He was a 1977 graduate of Western Christian High School in Glendora, California. He was a loving husband to his wife of 25 years, Rebecca. He was a wonderful and supportive dad to Brendal and Kylia, and he was a proud Papa Jim to Weston Hayde. He was a son to Tom and Margaret. A brother to Robert and Tommy. Uncle Jim to Jarrica, Kirbi, Rachael, Andrea, Cassidy Brynli and Chance. He was a friend to Allen, Darlene, John and Courtney. James had a love for music. He could play the guitar and loved getting together with friends to play music. Anyone who knew him knew he was a 1 fan of the Beatles. He will be greatly missed and cherished by all who knew him. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife: Rebecca Rector of Westville, OK, his son: Brendal Michael William Rector of Muskogee, OK, his daughter: Kylia Chaye-lynn Rector and grandson Weston Hayde of Fayetteville, AR, his parents: Thomas Lee and Margaret Rector of Glendora, CA, his brothers: Thomas Lee Rector II and wife Sara of Thousand Oaks, CA, Robert Rector and wife Ann of Westville, OK, grandmother-in-law: Lillie Turn of Westville, OK, his sister-in-laws: Cynthia McKenzie and husband Adam of Westville, OK, Janet Fanning and husband Rance of Sand Springs, OK, Sheri Calverley and husband Matt of Fayetteville, AR, Tammy Jordan of Bentonville, AR, a brother-in-law: Michael Winkler of Farmington, AR, special friends: Alan Parret of Watts, OK, John and Courtney Gifford of Westville, OK. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Lace and Ola Rector and his maternal grandparents: Arthur and Bertha Haggard Morris. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2009 in Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darrell Self and Sister Dorothy Smith officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
