James Scott Rock

James “Scott” Rock was born on October 28th, 1971 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to James Rock and Deann Salsman.  Scott went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at the age of 51 years.

Scott graduated from Stilwell High School in 1989. Scott was known as the best advice giver to his friends and family and was very good at math.  Scott was also known to his friends and family as one of the best cooks and his favorite saying was “you have to cook with love”.   Scott loved fishing, traveling, visiting with friends but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Lois Alexander, his paternal grandparents Alvis and Esther Rock, his brothers Steven Brown and Lee Brown and his father-in-law Ben Bunch Jr.

Scott is survived by a very loving family that include his wife and best friend; Shannon Rock of the home, 3 Children; MaKayla Rock and companion Jovani, Micha Rock and wife Alanna, Matthew Rock all of Stilwell.  He also had 4 children whom he looked at as his own Jaynelle Scott and Husband George, Traig Wilson, Kyler Killer and Josiah Killer.   Scott had two grandchildren who were his pride and joy Miley Rock and Melody Rock-Virgen of Stilwell.  He is also survived by his parents, Deann Salsman, James Rock and Phyllis Rock.  His 3 siblings, Sister, April Rock, Brothers, David Reed and John Reed, his lifelong friend and brother Bobby Sayles, Mother-in-law Nora Bunch, friend Debra Bailey.  Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
