Jessie Kimble

Jessie Lucille (Patterson) Kimble was born on August 11th, 1929 to Clarence & Mary Patterson. Lucille departed this life to her heavenly home on November 19th, 2022, at the age of 93 years, 3 months, and 8 days; at the Quail Ridge Living Center in Colcord, Oklahoma.

Lucille married Lester Kimble on the 10th of May in 1947 and unto this union seven children were born. In their earlier years of marriage Lucille and Lester enjoyed getting to travel as seasonal farm workers. She was a devoted home maker, enjoyed working with her flowers, and in the garden. She was also a great seamstress. But her true passion in life was her family and the time she spent with them. She will be fondly remembered for her cooking and the nurturing of her children, grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren. Lucille was loved by many and you always felt like part of the family in her home, whether she was cutting your hair like she did for so many, or making you a plate. You could always hear her singing a tune no matter what she was doing. She was a true John Wayne fan and enjoyed watching many westerns. She loved the Lord and was strong in her faith and truly had a servant’s heart.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Mary Patterson, husband Lester of 45 years. Two brothers and two sisters, one grandson, and one great granddaughter.

She is survived by her seven children, Leon & wife Reva of Stilwell, Dan & wife Cheryl of Cookson, Rick & wife Phyillis of Stilwell, Treva & late husband Eddie Junker of Bernalillo, New Mexico, Nancy & husband David Gardenhire of Stilwell, Kenny Dale & wife Katherine of Bunch, Oklahoma, and Lisa & husband Scott Baird of Stilwell. As well as 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lucille will truly be missed by all those who were blessed to know her and love her.
