Jewel Gillette

Jewel Lorane Gillette, daughter of Charles Lester and Zora Lorene Comstock Morton, was born September 11, 1930 in Uniontown, Arkansas and departed this life on September 13, 2009 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 79 years and 2 days. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for nearly 40 years. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Jewel was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband: Eugene Keen, 2nd husband: Gerald Gillette and 3 brothers: Otis, Dewey, Harvey Morton and son in law: M.J. Small. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her 2 children: Donna Small of Westville, OK, Charles Keen and wife Vicky of Peggs, OK, 8 grandchildren: Belinda Small of Westville, OK, Jason Small and wife Brandy of Springfield, MO, John Small and wife Belinda of Westville, OK, Duane Keen of Christie, OK, Garland Keen of Tahlequah, OK, Jerry Keen and wife Carol of West Fork, AR, Michelle Keen of Christie, OK, Laurin Keen of Peggs, OK, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 4 sisters: Novie Morton and Elsie Workman of Cedarville, AR, Juanita Ratsenberger of Van Buren, AR, Marie Morton of Rockford, IL, and 1 brother: Gary Morton of Ft. Smith, AR. Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
