Jimmy Jordan

Jimmy Dale Jordan, son of John Wesley Sr. and Wilma (Drain) Jordan was born April 25, 1960 in Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life on October 31, 2015 in Westville, OK at the age of 55 years, 6 months and 6 days.

Jimmy enjoyed his years as a truck driver, and working at the tire shop. He had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, raising chickens, playing dominoes, card games and visiting with friends and family. Jimmy was known by his kind heart and was always ready to help anyone. He loved kids with a great passion and never met a stranger.

Jimmy attended Marble City Baptist Church as a child and accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Wilma Jordan, 2 brothers; James Claude Jordan and Rocky Matthew Jordan.

Jimmy is survived by a very loving family that includes his children; Deanna Taylor of Tulsa, OK, Tisha Akins and Jesse Akins and wife Holly, Jerrick Jordan all of Stilwell, OK, 12 grandchildren. Siblings; John Jordan Jr. and wife Jolene, J.R. Jordan and wife Roberta, Joe Jordan and wife Marie all of Stilwell, OK, Kenny Jordan of Sallisaw, OK, Carolyn Gann and husband Bob, Marilyn Hopkins and husband Glen, Susan Poindexter and husband Johnny and Mary Jordan all of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Honey Hill Church, Stilwell, OK with Glen Hopkins officiating. Interment followed at Bunch Cemetery, Bunch, OK under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
