Joan Cather

Joan D Cather, daughter of Joe and Oleta Remy Birmingham, was born on September 9, 1940 in Fayetteville, Arkansas and passed from this life on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 3 days. Joan loved her grandchildren. She cherished all of the precious time that she was able to spend with them. Joans hobby was going to yard sales and finding bargains and treasures. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family and friends will miss her deeply. Joan was preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Oleta Birmingham. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter: Jodean Ball and husband Randy of Westville, OK, 4 grandchildren: Christie Karnes and husband Frank of West Fork, AR, Kelly Guinn and husband Tim of Westville, OK, John Ball and wife Maria of Lincoln, AR, Levi Ball of Westville, OK, 9 great grandchildren: Amber Wood, Chad Wood, Heather Karnes, Levie Karnes, Zane Karnes, Ashley Guinn, Kaiden Guinn, Corban Ball, Callie Ball, sister: Nancy Dunning of Stilwell, OK, brother: Frank Birmingham of Lincoln, AR, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Woolsey Cemetery, Woolsey West Fork, Arkansas with Rev. Edward E. Cunningham officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
