Joanna Foreman

Joanna Foreman, daughter of Jess and Elsie Ella Hogner Fixin, was born on February 15, 1950 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 30 days. She was a very friendly and warm person. Joanna was a member of Mulberry Tree Baptist Church and attended as often as she was able. She liked to sing gospel music, play Yahtzee and spend time with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: Jess and Elsie Fixin, sisters: Margaret Adair, Rosie Flynn, Juanita Leach, brothers: Perry Fixin, Ronnie Fixin and half brother: Bill Hogner. Surviving Joanna is her brother: Donnie Fixin and wife Paula of Tahlequah, OK, niece: Dana Killer of the home in Stilwell, OK, great niece and nephew: Joshua and Kaitlyn Killer of the home. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Mulberry Tree Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Gil Hooper and George Fourkiller officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
