John Killer, Sr.

John Killer was born to Rollin Killer and Betsy Longbird Killer in Bunch, Oklahoma on May 11, 1926. He departed this life at the Stilwell Nursing Home on Feb 20, 2011 at the age of 84 years. John was a laborer all of his working days. His hobbies were going fishing and watching ball games. He was a member of New Baptist Church. John was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers George Killer and Ice Killer, niece Patty Killer and nephew Sonny Killer. John is survived by the mother of his children Clara, four sons Mose Killer and wife Lila, Thomas Killer, Harold Killer, John Jr. and wife Shirley, three daughters Ruth Ann Frye and husband Bill, Barbara Killer, Kathy Littledeer, two sisters Mary Glass and Fannie Glass, one brother Charlie Killer and wife Lydia, grandchildren Eddie Frye, Christine McFarland, Michael Killer, Tyson Killer, Jarrod Killer, Jamie Nakedhead, Jerome Killer, Robie Bunch, Callie Jackson, John Glen Killer and Kevin Littledeer, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Mike Glass officiating. Interment followed at Chuculate Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
