Johnny Bear

Johnny Lee Bear, son of Homer Kelly and Marinda Bear, was born on August 6, 1943 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

Johnny proudly served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He worked as a security guard for many years.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Bobby Ray Hammer, Melvin Hammer and Harold Hammer.

He is survived by his son: James Bear of Waco, TX, a granddaughter, brothers: Joe Hammer and wife Vontreba, Donnie Hammer and Tommy Hammer, all of Westville, OK, sisters: Nannie Girdner and husband Doug and Nellie Sue Hammer of Tahlequah, OK.

Johnny is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial visitation was held from 2 pm - 5 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK
