Johnny Eagle

Johnny Monroe Eagle, son of Luther and Joann Cochran Eagle, was born on July 26, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years, 7 months and 26 days. Monroe loved his family and all of the time that he was able to spend with them. While his health permitted, he was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Monroe worked for years in the Poultry Industry. He was preceded in death by his dad: Luther Eagle and a sister: Ruby Eagle. Monroe is survived by his mom: Joann Eagle of Tahlequah, OK, brothers: Jerry Eagle and wife Freda of Stilwell, OK, Tommy Eagle and wife Lora of Ft. Smith, AR, sisters: Betty Nofire and husband Eugene of Stilwell, OK, Celia Smith of Tahlequah, OK, a special friend: Jerry Sanders of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jim Briggs officiating. Interment followed at Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
