Johnny Eddings

Johnny Clayton Eddings was born on June 11, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed from this life on August 1, 2011, in Stilwell Memorial Hospital at the age of 50 years, 1 month, and 20 days. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joe Clark Jake Eddings and Juanita Cothren Eddings an uncle: Junior Cothren and an aunt: Jewell Perkins. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Eddings Crittenden and husband Ray of Westville two brothers: Jimmy Carl Eddings and Joe Eddings both of Stilwell an uncle: Bob Perkins and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. During high school Johnny worked for Worshams Grocery Store in Stilwell. After graduating from Stilwell High School he joined the National Guard. Upon returning from boot camp he started working at Green Leaf Nursery and would also assist his Aunt Jewell around the farm. Johnny loved his family and enjoyed reminiscing about old times. Those that came in contact with him had very favorable memories. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Glenn Hopkins officiating. Interment followed at Honey Hill Cemetery.
