Johnny Johnson

Johnny B Johnson, son of Allen and Mattie Roberts Johnson, was born on April 28, 1925 in Cherokee County, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.

He married Mae Jean Blakemore on March 19, 1953 and they were blessed with a long and loving marriage. Johnny B was a school bus driver for many years. He was a farmer and rancher: raising chickens, cattle and most of all, quarter horses. He enjoyed roping, riding and cutting horses. Johnny B spent many enjoyable hours visiting with friends, neighbors and family.

Johnny B was preceeded in death by his parents: Allen and Mattie Johnson, wife: Mae Jean Blakemore Johnson, brother: Levi Johnson and sisters: Jewell Fountain, Ladema Eastham, Goldie Johnson and an infant sister.

He is survived by his sister: Helen Parks and husband Preston of Victoria, Texas, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends, including his dear friend: Louie Gilliam.

Funeral services at 2 pm on Monday, August 4, 2014 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Charles Duvall and Bro. Joe Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
