Juanita Green

Juanita Goodrich Green was born on August 17, 1925, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Jacob Goodrich and Wakie Fogg-Goodrich and went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2023, at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 97.

Juanita loved the Lord, her family, her friends, and football. She was a faithful member of Cherry Tree Baptist Church. She loved to read her Bible and pray for everyone by name every night. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching it grow. On Sundays you could guarantee there would be a warm meal, a house full of family, and football would be on.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jacob Goodrich and Wakie Fogg-Goodrich; sisters: Maryan Goodrich, Hazel Goodrich-Rackliff, and Rachel Chuculate; brothers: Charles Licklighter, Johnny Goodrich, and Calvin Goodrich; one son: Terry Green; and special nephew: Harry Rackliff.

She is survived by her loving children: Dennis Daniels and wife Carol, Reba Collins and husband Bob, Denise Green, and Charles Green and wife Cheryl; brothers: Cliff Goodrich and wife Vivian, Warren Goodrich and wife Lennora, Gary Goodrich and wife Lori, and Isaac Goodrich. Special nephew and niece that she raised as her own: Jackie Chuculate and Barbara Sue Rackliff. 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and 1 on the way. Many nephews and nieces also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 10 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. DJ McCarter officiating.  Interment followed at Chuculate Cemetery, Adair County, Oklahoma.
