Juanita Philpott

Juanita Philpott, daughter of Anderson and Edna Scott McClain was born September 30, 1930 in Barber, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on April 9, 2012 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 26 days. She enjoyed going to church and making her frequent visits to the Stilwell Senior Citizen Center. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers. Some of her favorite times were spent with her daughter taking bus trips and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Philpott , son Jimmy Joe Price, 1 brother Melvin McClain and 1 sister Audie Lawson. Juanita is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter Regina McLemore and husband Dennis of Stilwell, OK, 3 grandchildren Joel McLemore and wife Adela of Fresno, CA, Alison Kinback and husband David of Ada, OK, James Price and wife Amy of Okmulgee, OK. Five great grandchildren Samantha, Abigail, Morgan, Andrew and Melissa, several other relatives, including a special cousin, Blanche Steely of Tahlequah, OK, and many friends also survive her. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Hubert Sponsler officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
