Judith Marie Carlile was born November 21, 1944 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to B.G. and Nina Stewart. She passed away at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 19, 2010. Judy married Charles Carlile on August 3, 1963. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Speech Pathology. She used this degree and worked as a speech pathologist at Tulsa Public Schools for many years. She had many hobbies including reading, photography, traveling and hiking. She also enjoyed going to church and was a member of South Lakewood Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents B.G. and Nina Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Charles Carlile of the home in Tulsa, OK, 2 sons Charles Eric Carlile and wife DeeDee and Jon David Carlile and wife Rhonda all of Broken Arrow, OK, 4 grandchildren Zeke, Erin, Eli and Allie Carlile all of Broken Arrow, OK. 2 sisters Pat Woodward and husband Clarence of Stilwell, OK, Carolyn Edwards and husband David of Oswego, KS. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive her. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gus R. Hart officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
