Junior Harlin

Junior Harlin, son of George Sr. and Callie Pruitt Harlin was born May 14, 1934 in Christie, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on November 7, 2014 at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma surrounded by loved ones at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 24 days.

Junior was a very loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He always enjoyed being surrounded by his loved ones. He also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, watching westerns and setting on the porch chewing tobacco while admiring nature.

He was preceded in death by his parents: George Sr. and Callie Harlin, 2 sons Larry Harlin and Rick Harlin, siblings Gene Harlin and Rosa Vaughan.

Junior is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Barbara Harlin of the home in Stilwell, OK, 3 children Lisa Dillard, Brian Harlin and wife Kim, Brad Harlin all of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren Melissa Harlin, Dennis Giffin Jr., Lacy Linville, Brianna Harlin, Brent Harlin, Justin Harlin and Kyle Harlin, great grandchildren Jacob Isaacs, Greenley Chuculate, Ethan Giffin, Callie Giffin, Chloe Davis, Will Wilson, Lindzey Freeman and Olivia Freeman. 1 great great grandson Kiaou River Watie, sister in law Dixie Harlin, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Graveside services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Freewater Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Don Waldrop officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
