Dewayne Littlejohn was born in Stilwell, OK to Elizabeth Brown Littlejohn and George "Wash" Washington Adair Littlejohn on November 11, 1943 and passed from this life on May 13, 2020 at the age of 76.

Dewayne attended grade school at Dahlonegah and then  Stilwell High School graduating with the class of 1960.  Upon graduating from high school Dewayne attended Northeastern State University and later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps earning a rank of Private  through Corporal.  Once boot camp was completed he was selected for Officers Candidate school where he completed his Bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University in 1971. Dewayne earned his Juris Doctor at George Washington University School of Law in 1976.  Dewayne retired from the Marine Corps as a 2nd Lt. Colonel after 23 years of service.

During his career from June 1976 through December of 2000 Dewayne Practiced both civil and criminal law.  Worked as an Assistant District Attorney from January 1984-June 1985 and then again January 2003 -August 2007.  District Judge at the United Kettoowah Band of Cherokee Indians January 2003-January 5, 2019.  Former  Administrative Appeals Board member at Cherokee Nation from approximately November 2015 until 2018.

Dewayne  is preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth Littlejohn and George "Wash" Littlejohn, his children,  Jeanette Littlejohn of Deerfield Beach FL  and Shane Charles of Claremeore OK. Siblings  Carl Stanley Littlejohn of the home and Earl Ray Littlejohn of Stilwell, OK, Lotti Dot Cain of Stilwell, OK.  Niece Karen Sikes of Stilwell, OK, Nephew Clifton Cain of Stilwell, OK, Clayton Cain of the home.  Great Nephew, Kevin Cain of Stilwell, OK.

Dewayne was a devoted husband, father and the BEST Poppie to all of his grandchildren.

Survivors include a loving spouse, Goldie Foster Littlejohn of Stilwell, OK Children, Jay and Michelle Littlejohn, Stilwell, OK, Samantha and Dusty Day of Broken Arrow, OK, Blake and Julie Charles, Claremore, OK, Faron and Cheryl Charles, Inola, OK, Donna Charles, Tulsa, OK.  Sibling Dovie Mae Littlejohn, Stilwell, OK, Grand Children Hunter and Taylor Littlejohn, Tahlequah, OK, Tyler Littlejohn of Stilwell, OK, Trett and Katie Charles of  Owasso OK,  Ashley and Aaron Perkins, Purcell OK, Shelby and Calvin Hoffman, Owasso, OK, Kenady Charles, Claremore, OK, Page Charles, Taylor Charles, Hailey Charles, Claremore OK. Great Grand Children, Aspen Littlejohn, Tahlequah, OK, Jackson Perkins, and Easton Perkins, Purcell, OK, Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
