Karen Sykes

Karen Sue Sykes, daughter of Earl Ray and Bertie Elizabeth (Weaver) Littlejohn was born October 21, 1959 in Lawton, OK and departed this life on January 2, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 56 years, 2 months and 13 days.

She really enjoyed traveling, cross stitching in her younger years and also loved watching TV especially wrestling and football. Karen was employed at People Inc and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; John Petree of the home, 3 sisters; Cheryl Huggins of Proctor, OK, Wanda Hamad and husband Isam of Amman Jordan, Shannon Scraper of Proctor, OK. Many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Jim Walker officiating. Under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
