Kathleen Othylia Choate, born in Adair County, September 20, 1931, to William and Bertha White Neale passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Stilwell Memorial Hospital at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 18 days.
She loved to work and devoted her life to the family ranching and poultry businesses.
She was saved when she was fifteen years old and was an example to many of what it means to be a true Christian. She was a prayer warrior and faithful all her life to the church. The last prayer that was heard from Kathleen before she crossed over was Thank you Jesus for saving my soul, I love you Jesus, You are my life.
She was a member of Addielee Holiness Church and then a member of Faith Holiness after Addielee and Baron Holiness Churches joined together to form Faith Holiness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Choate, her son Roger, her daughter, Angela, her brothers, Dwayne Neale, Billy Neale and J.L. Neale and her sisters, Datha Doyle, Daphene Choate and Lowee McChristian.
She is survived by her brothers, Charles Neale, wife Melissa and Keith Neale, wife Fern, all of Stilwell.
Kathleen had a special bond with her brother J.L.
and his family, daughters, Melanie Jones, and son J.L., Michele Jennings, and son Chase Neale, and Kimberly Baggs, husband Kevin and daughter Cara Lynn and
James Jennings and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming kindness shown during this time of great sorrow.
Funeral services at 2 pm on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Faith Holiness Church, Westville, OK with Cody Lundberg, Bro. Olin Vaughn and Bro. Dennis Knapp officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Hart Funeral Home.
