Kathy Ann Hevezi passed away peacefully on December 26, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 5th 1951 to the late Ralph Ketcher and Alyene Hogner in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Kathy's career in the energy industry took her to Houston, Texas and then to Carmel, Indiana where she worked as Director of Contracts Administration until 2013 when she retired due to medical reasons. Kathy made many close friends in the industry around the country. Her job required her to travel as she was a member of a group that met quarterly in different cities. Upon her retirement she was invited to a dinner in her honor in Washington, DC by that group. She was very humbled by the occasion. Kathy loved her family dearly. She missed her mother Alyene and brother Mike very much. She lived for her children and grandchildren and showed her love in countless ways. Kathy was very proud of her Cherokee Heritage. She assisted her brother Jeff at the Fairfield Community Center for special events and was always willing to help those in need. Kathy loved sports especially the Sooners and Thunder. She had a special gift of working with her hands. From flower arranging and planting to arts and crafts she was an inspiration to many. Kathy loved moving back to Stilwell, Oklahoma. Living in her childhood home and being close to family and friends. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Kathy is survived by her loving family that includes her husband of twenty years Chuck Hevezi of Stilwell, OK, children; Dana Qualls of Coweta, OK, Travis Drain and Tammy and Olivia Ainbinder of Broken Arrow, OK, grandchildren Nick Qualls of Kansas City, MO, Griffin Qualls and Gage Hamm of Coweta, OK, and Ayden Drain of Broken Arrow, OK.
Kathy is also survived by her siblings Jeffrey Simpson and wife Joanna of Stilwell, OK, Michael Ketcher who preceded her in death, Gene Ketcher and wife Pam, Ronnie Ketcher, Ralph Ketcher all of Stilwell, OK, Mary J. Goodall and husband Steve of Waco, TX, uncle; Ben Hogner of Fr. Gibson, OK, aunt; Kathryn Green of Muskogee, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services held at 1 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery, Stilwell, Ok.
