Kenneth Sanders

Kenneth Sanders son of Roy and Mary Jane (Hummingbird) Sanders was born November 8, 1938 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on March 21, 2016 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 13 days.

He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather to his family. He worked as a forklift driver for many years. When not working Kenneth enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool, gardening, loved flowers and had a great passion for making Indian Jewelry. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Johnny Sanders, William Sanders, Wilson Sanders and 2 grandsons; Andy Robinson and Daymond Alexander Hardin.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Dee Sanders of the home in Muskogee, OK, children; Danny Sanders and wife Marty of Stillwater, OK, Patty Reece and husband Donald, Danny Hardin, Daymond Hardin and wife Marie all of Muskogee, OK, Darian Hardin and wife Jolena of Holdenville, OK, 6 grandchildren; Zachary, Kendon, Mathew, Grace, Jackson and Nathan. Siblings; Leroy Sanders and wife Faith of San Juan Pueblo, NM, Bobby Sanders and wife Gloria of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Ann White and husband Jerry of Stilwell, OK, Dickie Scraper and wife Sherry of Tulsa, OK, Sammy Scraper and wife Karen of Muskogee, OK, Sandra Scraper of Stilwell, OK, David Scraper of Muskogee, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe White and Bro. Jerry White officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment followed in the Doublehead Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
