Kenny James Fitts

Kenny James Fitts, born December 7, 1960, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on August 29, 2025, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Kenny grew up in Westville, Oklahoma, and attended Westville schools. He worked in construction, building pole barns and fences, and had a talent for tinkering with small engines. A member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Kenny found his greatest joy in becoming a Christian, a decision that shaped his life.

He loved to dance, especially the waltz and two-step, and was known for his wonderful sense of humor that touched everyone around him.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Elise Fitts; three brothers, Bill, Leonard, and Jimmy; and his sister, Shelly Haberle. He is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Doyle and her husband Jim, as well as Sharon Vandevender and her husband Scott; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tom and Katie Francis.
