Kevin Stevens

Kevin Ray Stevens son of Jim and Modena Edgmon Stevens was born October 4, 1961 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on May 9, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years, 6 months and 8 days. Kevin loved working for the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission where he was employed for 30 years. He married Gina Shepherd in August of 1992 and to this union one son Hunter was born. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Hunter with anything he was involved in and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ell and Ollie Edgmon, Charlie and Beulah Stevens, his father in law J.B. Shepherd, several aunts and uncles. Kevin is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Gina Stevens and son Hunter Stevens both of the home in Stilwell, OK, parents Jim and Modena Stevens of Stilwell, Ok, sister Diane Eubanks and husband Roger of Stilwell, Ok, 1 niece, Jessica Means and husband Hugh, 1 nephew Josh Eubanks all of Stilwell, OK, 2 great nephews Landon Eubanks and Kipton Means. His mother in law Phyllis Smith and husband Fred of Keys, Ok, brothers in law Mike Shepherd and wife Nelda of Fargo, OK, Jay Shepherd and wife Debbie of Ft. Gibson, OK, several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Stilwell with Pastor Darryl Lacie and Bro. Carney Duncan officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
