Kyle Thurber

Kyle Lenn Duane Thurber, son of Wanda Faye Brown and Elmer Dean Thurber, was born November 21, 1984 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on April 18, 2017 in Stilwell, Ok at the age of 32 years, 4 months and 17 days.
He had a great love for his children. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading ammo, and making knives. He also enjoyed his dog "Baby". He graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at Ryder Truck in Springdale, AR as a diesel mechanic.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandmother; Viva Brown, grandpa's; Leonard Thurber and Norman Butler and uncle; Jimmy Don Thurber.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his mom; Faye Butler of Siloam Springs, AR, father; Elmer Thurber and wife Retha of Watts, OK, step dad; Dan Butler and wife Keli of Stilwell, OK, children; Maddee Lynn, Remington James, Kenalie Rose and Ashton Sonya Faye Thurber, siblings; Charles Thurber and wife Kenilee of Westville, Ok, Alisha Drain and husband Steven of Stilwell, OK, Daniel Lee Butler Jr. and wife Brandy of Siloam Springs, AR. Grandpa; Duane Brown and wife Janice of Stilwell, OK, step children; Abbiegayle, McKenzie and Madison Kester, nieces and nephews; Cedar Drain, Ella Butler, Chandler Butler and Oakleigh Thurber, special friend who was like a brother; Clay Miller and wife Krystal, special cousin; Jennifer Brown, several aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 24, 2017 Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Kevin Davis and Bro. Justin Davis officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma
