L. Murray

L. Josephine Jody Murray, 83, of Marion, Kansas, passed away at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on July 30, 1926, at Canton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Homer and Lucy Hampton Armstrong. She was a homemaker. She was preceded by her daughter Reva Yank, and several siblings. She is survived by her childen: Rikki Palone of Lakeview, OH Richard Palone III and Reba Burke both of Marion, KS siblings: Raymond Armstrong of Satellite Beach, FL and June Whisenhunt of Mena, AR 10 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, KS. A Committal Service was held at Old Union Temple Cemetery, Cinncinati, AR under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home, Westville, OK on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2:30 p.m., with Bro. Larry Eubanks officiating. A Memorial fund has been established with the Salvation Army.
