Lance Ryan Lingle was born on April 25, 1976, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Ken Lingle and Trish (Dornbrack) Lingle. He left this world bound for Heaven on Thursday, June 10, 2021, in Christie, Oklahoma at the age of 45 years, 1 month, and 16 days.
Lance was an intelligent young man. He loved working on his computer, looking things up with his mom and Uncle Gary, they all enjoyed watching movies together and sometimes all night long. He will be greatly missed. When Lance left Oklahoma, he settled in Istanbul and spent many years teaching there. He loved and cherished his friends and students he met while teaching. From his base in Turkey, he and Zeynep were able to travel all over Europe and Asia. Lance became a world traveler.
He is preceded in death by his father: Ken Lingle; his maternal grandparents: Robert and Patsy Dornbrack; his paternal grandparents: Jimmy and Nadine Lingle.
Lance is survived by his loving wife of nearly 20 years: Zeynep (Gurken) Lingle of the home in Istanbul, Turkey; his mother: Trish Chandler of Christie, Oklahoma; his uncle: Gary Dornbrack of Christie, Oklahoma; two sisters: Cande Jo Jacquot of Chester, South Carolina, and Ashlee Gann and husband Chasen of Hillsboro, Kansas; two brothers: Jason Lingle of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Cole Lingle of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his step-father: Sam Chandler of Christie, Oklahoma; his grandmother: Meg Hamilton of Claremore, Oklahoma; two nephews, and two nieces; countless cousins, and many, many friends both here in the United States and also all those he loved back home in Turkey.
