Lawrence was also a proud Vietnam Veteran and during his Military Career he performed a handful of job duties and received several metals.  One of his favorite jobs was when he was a tank driver because in his words “I got to run everything over.”  But his proudest award was when he earned his sharpshooter merit.

After serving in the U.S. Army for several years Lawrence returned home and later worked and retired from Schwan’s Bakery.
