Lena Roof

Lena Leann Roof, daughter of Alenzo and Sally Blackbird Goodmoney, was born on March 17, 1939 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on March 28, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years and 11 days.

She was a supervisor for Peterson's Corp. She enjoyed fishing, hiking, and yard work. Lena was always proud of her yard which was beautiful. She also loved long country drives and being in the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with family and visiting in the Rocky Mountain Community while her health permitted.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond Wilson;3 brothers, Jim Squirrel and Bennie Squirrel, and Nelson Goodmoney; and sister, Arlene Goodmoney.

Lena is survived by her children: Rita Kay Daniels and husband, Kevin of Peggs, Oklahoma; Franklin Edward Roof and wife, Martha of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Candace L Howard and Husband Clifton of Stilwell; and Glorena S. Russell and husband, Steven of Pineyville, Kentucky. 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She is survived also by siblings: Joe Squirrel, Lucy Squirrel, Louise Squirrel, Linda Goodmoney, and Timothy Squirrel. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
