Leonard "Little Man" Vann, the son of Hooley and Martha (Hardbarger) Vann, was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on February 4, 1951. Leonard departed this life on June 22, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.
Leonard was married to the love of his life Dianna Lynn "Pinkerton" Vann on November 19, 1988, and from this union, three children were blessed. Charles Renee, Raveen Lynn, and Bryan Lee Vann. In Leonard's early years he worked at Tysons, hauled hay, built pole barns, remodeled Walmarts, and like most of Stilwell, he had to work at Mrs. Smith's for a while. Later in life, he spent most of his time with family and his three grandchildren; Kailey, Alexis, and baby Dianna.
Leonard was fluent in Cherokee and enjoyed going to hog frys, and fishing with the late Mac Vann. He also had a good friend John Calvin Bunch that he spent much time with throughout his life. Leonard's last years were spent reading his Bible, listening to preaching, watching Thunder basketball, and spending time with family.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents Hooley and Martha Vann, wife Dianna Vann, daughter Raveen Vann, three sisters; Ida Agent, Nannie Jones, and Ruby Daugherty, three brothers; Youngwolf Vann, Toolate Vann, and Johnny Vann.
He is survived by two children; Bryan Vann and Charles Renee and companion David Webster; three granddaughters; Kailey Lynn, Alexis Renee, and Dianna Jerly, all of the home; one sister; Mildred Wofford; sister-in-laws; Jackie French and husband George, K. Charline Essary and husband Phillip; brother-in-laws; L. Wayne Pinkerton and wife Tonya and Paul Pinkerton. Leonard is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
