Lillie Clinton

Lillie Bernice (Doyle) Clinton was born on August 3, 1924, in Winslow, Arkansas, and left this world to be with Jesus on July 4, 2022, in Stilwell. Oklahoma, at the age of 97 years, 11 months and 1 day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jefferson Clinton, her parents, R.B. and Martha Doyle, her brothers Arthur, George, Clyde, and Burl Doyle, her sisters, Eula Bottoms and Grace Stephenson and her sons-in-law Steve Kreis, J.D. Fletcher and L.E. Baird.

She is survived by her brothers, Ray, Bobby, and Kenneth Doyle and her sister Rosann Davenport. She is also survived by her three daughters, Maxine Kreis of Williamsburg, KY, Shirley Fletcher of Sapulpa, OK, and Jeffie Baird of Stilwell, OK. Her legacy of love will live on through her nine grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Lillie was loved by all who knew her, she was known for speaking her mind, her willingness to always serve others, and her ability to cook a complete meal for unexpected guests in less than an hour, including cinnamon rolls. Despite the hardships of life, she kept her spunk, determination and faith. She was never afraid of hard work and could work circles around most people, well into her 80's. Lillie loved her family and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She will forever be missed and remembered with great love and admiration by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
